La agrupacion SIKUS BOLIVIA nació un 7 de septiembre de 1990 en la ciudad de Nueva york, USA con integrantes bolivianos en su totalidad.La destreza y virtuosidad jamas vista en la ejecucion de los instrumentos de viento (maltas,sancas,toyos,quenas) y cuerdas (charangos,guitarras ) caracterizo y posesionó el estilo del grupo.
La experimentacion creció poco a poco con instrumentos electronicos grabando de esta forma su primer trabajo discografico fuera de Bolivia ,denominado SIKUS new music for the mind made by the heart.
Durante un receso musical de los escenarios SIKUS BOLIVIA desarrolla la experimentacion de sonidos nuevos (sintetizadores y efectos nuevos en instrumentos nativos bolivianos) logrando de esta manera un resultado experimental homogéneo donde predomina fuertemente la vituosidad progresiva en musica nacional boliviana e internacional. El sonido digital se incluye en el nuevo producto de SIKUS BOLIVIA el cual junto de la mano del maestro compositor jorge Komori nace con el nombre E.C.L.I.P.S.E. el primero en Bolivia y grabado en sus propios estudios,con la produccion de Todo Musica,con composiciones de Jorge Komori,Jose Vargas,Xavier Melgarejo y otros ,con arreglos propios del grupo de las canciones como ser : silencio.Kalasasaya,el encuentro,ilucion herida,eclipse y otros, en donde se fusionan sonidos andinos propios de la gama de los sikuris,charangos,combinandolos con sonidos electricos : guitarras,bajos,sontetizadores,samplers e instrumentos de percusión.
